Surely enough, if you want or need POP, make sure the corresponding options are enabled. Stick to IMAP like the rest of the modern world. You can enable POP, but we do not recommend using this outdated protocol.

Click on the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.Locate the gear icon in the top-right corner
